Remy Battery Company
Remy Battery Company is a Milwaukee area automotive battery
distributor. We maintained Remy Battery's traditional PC network
for many years before transitioning them to Hosted Windows in
early 2006.
Maintaining a legacy business
application between two store locations was becoming cumbersome
and difficult. Simple application support from the home office
to users was often delayed causing down time and frustration.
Remy's Hosted Windows Computing
environment serves their two locations, as well as telecommuting
users, with a real-time information system - previously
unavailable to small business. In the fall of 2007, Remy plans
to add Neoware m100 thin-client notebook computers to it's sales
force. Next year, work will begin on supplying thin-client
terminals to their dealers across the state and region. These
dealers will be able to check Remy inventory and place orders in
real time. |
